Leo at the rehab center

I believe that what happened at the rehab center could not stop Leonard's personal beliefs. Therefore, the people holding Leonard captive would not of been able to keep him at the rehab center. So he escapes and walks for all eternity, or until he dies, known as an insane being.

    Also - you are writing this conclusion as a story not as a personal statement. Remove the "I" voice, unless you decide to tell the story from Leonard's point of view.
