Character: Shows that Lenina likes the abnormal man Bernard Marx.
Important events: introduces Somas and that no important history exist anymore.
Figurative Language: "discarnate voices called from the trumpet mouths."-metaphor , History is bunk- symbol, comparing mother to a cat and kittens to children-simile.

  1. Zack - you need a summary and to be much more detailed then this. I don't expect just a list. Further, what are the symbols or metaphors doing? What do they mean beyond the literal?
